We ship small volumes of ginger to the Gulf and see two products quoted: air-dried and fresh.

For a 25-30 day transit, which one arrives in better condition, and what does it do to the price per MT?

For 25-30 days, air-dried travels better: lower surface moisture, less mould risk in a reefer with humidity swings. Price is typically 10-20% higher than fresh. If you keep fresh, insist on a reefer at 12-13°C and pre-cooling, and leave the container vents at the setting the supplier documents.
