First post. We are a small distributor in the Gulf looking at Chinese garlic and ginger.What is a sane sequence for a first import — sample, then one container, then contract?
Sample with a lot code, then one container on FOB terms with third-party inspection, then a framework contract with a price formula. Do not sign a volume contract before you have seen one arrival.
