MOQ and payment terms for dehydrated onion flakes
We are looking at dehydrated onion flakes (A grade, 8-10 mm) for a food-service customer in Europe.Two questions: what is a realistic MOQ for a trial, and is 30/70 T/T with the balance against the B/L copy still normal for this product?
Trial MOQ is usually 1 MT for flakes; below that the factory cannot justify a drying run. 30/70 against B/L copy is still common, but for a first order most exporters will ask for a smaller balance against the inspection report. Budget for the EU pesticide-residue panel — it is paid by the buyer in most quotes.
