What is the harvest window for Japonica rice, and how does it affect quality?
We are planning a Japonica rice purchase from Jilin and Heilongjiang and want to time it with the harvest.The window is October-November. Inside the window you get the widest grade choice; outside it you are buying stored stock, and for Japonica rice the stored lot usually shows moisture and broken-kernel ratio.
